Afforestation Drive in Madhya Pradesh

Natural resources are considered as a big asset for a region, and one such in India is the state of Madhya Pradesh. Forests are spread over 30.72 percent of the total area in Madhya Pradesh. These dense forests are the producer of India’s best Teak wood.

In association with the Green India Mission, the state’s forest department implemented activities in ecologically important and vulnerable regions of the state with the participation of forest-dependent communities in its on ground implementation.

Hoshangabad, being one such district is the home to these Teak forests. Almost half of the forest tract is hilly and lies in the Satpura mountain range. Due to this typical topography the regeneration of the Teak species in the forest is not satisfactory.

BroadArks Foundation conducted an afforestation drive in partnership with the State’s Forest Department under the Green India mission in 2014-15.

These brilliant students deserve equal opportunities and facilities to get the best out of their talent. BroadArks foundation worked on identifying and providing coaching to these EBC students in and around the district of Bhopal. The students were provided coaching in subjects like Mathematics, Science and Commerce using technology enabled solutions and modern teaching aids.

Eye Checkup Camps in Bhopal

Blindness takes away not just our sight, but also our dreams, aspirations, and hopes. Unfortunately, India is home to almost a quarter of the World’s blind population. The irony is that 80 percent of the blindness is avoidable but it still exists due to deplorable ophthalmic services and poor awareness levels about eye care in our country.

BroadArks Foundation worked closely with the local health agencies and self-help groups to set up eye camps for the elderly with the objective of providing free eye check-ups and paramedical help for post-cataract surgeries in the eye camps, in and around the city of Bhopal. Further BroadArks Foundation partnering with leading social organizations in Madhya Pradesh, we created sustainable systems that provided eye health services, educational support, and social rehabilitation of people with visual impairment.
