BroadArks Foundation since its inception has been committed to delivering sustainable solutions for the society leading to a better future for one and all. Our goals and actions are targeted towards the upliftment of the under-served sections of the society in the areas of Healthcare, Education, and Employability. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals laid down by the United Nations about the global challenges that come our way, we at BroardArks work in accordance to bring out the required changes.
Education not only generates employment but also makes the citizens aware of their rights, helps them understand the social context and behavior better – which ultimately leads to their evolution as empowered citizens.
In a country the size of India, the pupil-teacher ratio in government schools is 1:37, one of the highest amongst the comparable set of nations. This uneven education system has prevented a large section of society from availing basic education. This has a cascading effect on every pillar of the Human Development Index.
BroadArks Foundation works towards making education accessible and creating alternative modes of imparting the same to the under-served section of the society. The Foundation strives to bridge the pupil-teacher gap with the use of technology-enabled learning platforms, at the same time strengthening access to quality content to improve the overall learning experience.
Health is one of the key indicators of sustainable development. Poor health limits the scope of pursuing basic education, capitalizing on economic opportunity resulting in poverty for the communities. Accessibility to basic healthcare is a major challenge for our country. Even when an adequate supply of healthcare services exists in the community, there are numerous social and financial factors to consider in terms of healthcare access.
BroadArks Foundation believes in solving this by a 2-fold approach:
– Promote healthcare awareness and make basic healthcare accessible to all
– Develop a healthcare-seeking behavior among the underprivileged
BroadArks foundation contributes towards strengthening basic healthcare accessibility and awareness through partnership, providing skilled manpower for direct implementation, usage, and adoption of technology. We aim at creating solutions that are sustainable, impact-driven, and technology-enabled.
The country’s future lies in the hands of the youth. Having a large pool of unemployable youth is a matter of concern. This makes it paramount to channelize the efforts in a way that uplifts the underprivileged youth economically and socially, leading them towards a sustainable life.
A significant advancement of technology and digitization of industries has led to an increase in unemployment. It is imperative to equip, enable, and empower the unemployed youth with the contextual skill sets to be gainfully employed.
The true help is not by aiding the under-served with economic benefits but by enabling them with contextual skill sets to enable them to earn for themselves. The Foundation is committed to enhancing the employability of the youth by bridging the skill gap – between conventional schooling and industry requirements. Through an end-to-end integrated model of job-skill training, wage employment, and entrepreneurship development we take the youth towards their financial independence.
